Device sucks and charge way too much
Customer service is terrible and you spend your time with lousy automated customer support system and get frustrated before you get a human, which are good but by the time they get on line you're frustrated beyond fixing.
They are a local provider, but only to certain people. Neighbors can get service, however you may not be able to. They apparently have very specific areas the "can only service." Don't waste your time or money.
I would suggest that anyone living in the New Florence area that is considering using Charter Cable ....think twice. I have been a customer for 4-5 months and have had nothing but trouble. A technician has been to my home 3-4 times and the problem seems to keep cropping up. This week, I was told by the onsite technician that they would monitor my channels because they thought the problem was in the main line coming into our town from Mexico. Today, I have two or more scrambled channels and 3-4 channels completely blacked out. When I called to report it, they told me there was no monitor request on my account and they would be glad to send a tech out next week. At this point, I can't think of one good reason I should keep this cable service. It seems to me that the "right hand" doesn't know what the left hand is doing and unless half the town calls in to complain, NOTHING gets done. A portion of my channels I enjoy watching have been out all day, however, I would bet no monetary credit will be offered on my monthly bill. Also, if you do call in to report a problem, be prepared to wait on the phone 20-30 minutes.
Services is good and they are willing to explain services.
